What it covers
Third Party Only (TPO)
Covers injuries and damage caused to others. The legal minimum for commercial vehicles on Kenyan roads.
Comprehensive
Third party plus your own vehicle for accident damage, theft and fire. Recommended where the vehicle is financed or is the backbone of the business.
Correct use class
We make sure the policy matches the real use — own goods, general cartage or hire and reward — because the wrong class can void a claim.
Goods in Transit
Available from some insurers for the goods you carry. Ask us if your business needs it.

Common exclusions — the honest part
Common exclusions include overloading, use outside the insured class, unlicensed drivers and wear and tear. Carriage of hazardous goods usually needs special terms — tell us what you carry and we will advise.
Questions people ask
Does it matter what I carry?
Yes. Own-goods, general cartage and hire-and-reward are different classes with different premiums. Insuring under the wrong class is one of the most common reasons commercial claims are rejected.
Can you insure a whole fleet?
Yes. Fleets often qualify for better terms. Send us the list of vehicles and we will quote them together.
Is the driver covered?
Motor policies cover the vehicle and third parties. Driver and crew protection is handled through personal accident cover — we can quote both together.
