Common exclusions — the honest part
The most common claim problem: a private-policy bike found carrying paying passengers. Other typical exclusions include riding without a valid licence and unauthorised riders. We confirm your use before quoting.
Questions people ask
I carry passengers sometimes — which cover do I need?
If you carry passengers for money at all, you need PSV cover. It costs more than private cover, but a private policy will not pay a passenger claim — and that is the claim most likely to happen.
Is my passenger covered?
Under PSV cover, yes — passenger legal liability protects the person you are carrying. Under private cover, no.
What do I need for same-day cover?
Logbook, your licence, ID and KRA PIN. Send them on WhatsApp and we will tell you exactly what the insurer still needs.
